The Festival has included a choral concert whenever possible. Having the North Devon Sinfonia, winners of BBC Four’s Great Orchestral Challenge, on the doorstep, has provided an irresistible incentive to put on a performance of Haydn’s joyous and splendid Creation.

The NDS (as it is known) whose players come from one of the most rural areas in Devon, produced a standard of performance that surpassed the nation's other amateur orchestras. Not only that, but their enthusiasm showed no bounds! They are joined by a massed Two Moors Festival chorus that includes members from the Devon Wildlife Trust and Blundell’s School. The soloists are some of the foremost young professional artists; the Chorus Master none other than Colin Howard (known to many in the Festival) and the performance will be directed by NDS’s conductor, Emma Kent.
